Will it work on a Western Star 4900 Extened Hood. Freightliner and Western Star are both Daimler and your spring "looks" the same. Obviously looks and is are two different categories. Thanks for checking

We do not have a listing of which vehicles it will fit. The hood springs are sold by crossing them to the manufacturer part number. This is a direct replacement for Freightliner part 1712609000, 17-12609-000. You can contact a dealer with your VIN and they can advise you which spring your truck uses. Unfortunately, we do not have a way to look it up by vehicle application.
