Includes tethered lock pin
A one piece housing keeps contaminants from entering the pintle hook assembly
Cast steel alloy latch is heat treated for strength and durability
Body and housing are forged from special alloy steel and heat treated for high strength and wear resistance
For off-road applications, reduce the above maximum capacities by 25%. Not for use with a swivel-mount drawbar
Tested in accordance with SAE J847 (Type II)

We are needing a Pintle hook for our rail cart, the ring that attaches to it is at 2 5/8" . it is a rotating hook and the rings are rated at 90,000 lbs. can you help me? Thank you RCL Track Services

Unfortunately, I am unable to find any pintle hooks with the 90,000 lb weight capacity that you need that will accept your 2-5/8" ring. Pintle hooks with higher weight ratings use a 3" inner diameter ring. The only swivel options like this PH-775SL21 with a high weight capacity use a 3" ring. It is possible that you have a setup for rail use that was not produced by SAF Holland.
