Arnott ride height control sensors are made from quality components including durable injection molded resin and rugged mounting points and is tested up to 1 million cycles for a long service life.
Ride height sensors measure the varying distances between the road and the vehicle's chassis to provide input to a vehicle’s Electronic Control Unit (ECU) which then sends a signal to the air suspension compressor to fill or release air for the vehicle's air struts. Because sensors can wear out and are vulnerable to damage from road debris, accidents, water and salt intrusion, faulty ride height sensors should be replaced to prevent further damage to the vehicle's air suspension system.
