Neapco N2-40-1701-1 Details

Replacement stub shafts can give new life to an aging driveshaft by replacing the splined section. The long spines have a coating to help it slip when the suspension articulates, and this coating can wear if the driveline is not greased at regular services. Once this coating is gone the driveline may bind, pop, and snap as the suspension moves. Replacement stub shafts will need to be installed by a professional and the shaft will need balancing after installation, but a replacement can save money on a new shaft when the tube and other end are in good shape.
