ReadyLift 4 inch SST Lift Kit 69-1040 for the Dodge Ram 1500 gives your truck that Ram Tough look and mildly lifts your truck at both ends. The Smart Strut Technology mounts fit right on top of both the front and rear struts and allows up to a 35 inch tire. Kit includes front tubular steel upper control arms, top mount strut extensions and aluminum rear coil spring spacers.

Tuff country makes a similar product .....and forums all over the net say this kit is really bad for the ram 1500 cv angles are too steep supposedly is this kit safe?

I contacted Ready Lift tech, and they advised that they are not having any issues with the 69-1040 if installed properly. This kit is made to lift the application for looks and normal driving conditions but is not made for heavy off-roading.

  • All Jeep SST Lift Kit products are warranted when used in an off-road environment.

5 year - 60,000* mile Powertrain Warranty available when you purchase a qualifying ReadyLIFT suspension system and have it installed by a qualified professional installer.

What the warranty does not cover

Shock absorbers are not covered under the lifetime warranty. All freight charges are not covered. ReadyLIFT leveling kit, block kits and lift kit products are NOT intended for off-road abuse. Any abuse or damage as a result of off road use voids the warranty of the ReadyLIFT product.

How to get service

Call ReadyLIFT at 1-800-549-4620 to get return authorization # for any return.

Customers are responsible for shipping back to ReadyLift. Uninstalled product returns must be in original Readylift packaging and include the outer carton or protective carton when shipping returns back to ReadyLIFT. If the product does not have an outer box customer will be charged an additional $10.00 re-box charge to the restocking fee.
