Bilstein B8 - 5100 Steering Damper

Bilstein B8 5100 Steering dampers are designed as an upgrade to factory steering dampers on trucks and SUVs. They dampen minute movements in the steering and reduce steering vibrations that naturally occur, especially in older vehicles. They are zinc coated for resistance to harsh elements and match other Bilstein B8 5100 series shocks. You will notice a substantial improvements in steering, handling and comfort.

If a shock/strut malfunctions and BILSTEIN determines it to be defective, Bilstein will either replace it or repair it, depending on the term of the warranty based on the assembly's model type.

What the warranty does not cover

Original equipment shock absorbers: if your vehicle was equipped with BILSTEIN from the factory (original equipment) warranty claims must be directed to the vehicle manufacturer.*

Improper installation, racing, driving competition or off-road use, modified use or applications other than Bilstein recommended vehicles, commercial vehicles, bent or broken rods showing abuse or abnormal wear, surface finish, boot or mounting hardware, rubber bushings are not covered.

Labor charges are not covered by any of the foregoing limited warranties.
