item 42-477 list for a 68 Torino, and all say its for a 4 door. Mine is a 2 door, I wouldn't think there would be any difference, is there? Don

The 68 Torino 2 door hard top uses the 42-469. It is a 645 lbs. leaf spring with a 8 inch arch. The 42-477 is a 710 lbs spring with a 8-3/4 inch arch. It is heavier to accommodate the weight from the additional doors. They both will work on the 2 door. The 42-477 will sit 3/4 inches higher in the rear.

I have a 1971 GT Fastback Torino, are these the correct leaf springs for the fastback model? I have replaced the original leaf springs, but I've still got a sagging rearend.

What the warranty does not cover

Damage from accidents, corrosion, improper installation, incorrect applications, overloading, and custom applications that are not specified under the OEM cross references. This warranty does not cover loss of freight, loss of profit, equipment, or personal downtime. Any alteration of products will void the warranty. Warranty is void if new u-bolts are not installed when the new leaf spring is installed. Using existing u-bolts is a common cause for leaf spring breakage and failure.
