Leaf Springs 90-135 Details

Leaf Springs Important Role

Your leaf springs are one of the most important parts of your trucks suspension. If your leaf springs are shot or showing fatigue from old age, it is recommended to change them both out at the same time. If you only change one leaf spring, it is common that your truck will lean toward the side with the older leaf spring. If you purchase one leaf spring and decided to replace the other one at a later date, you may receive a spring from another manufacturer as we source our springs from multiple manufacturers. It is recommend to replace them in pairs to guarantee a match.

Replacing your leaf springs with a high quality OEM leaf spring from Michigan Truck Spring will help improve your ride in the following ways:

  • Less bounce, which means more solid contact with the road and therefore longer tire life.
  • Driver comfort is greatly improved.
  • Your payload sits tight, significantly reducing cargo damage.
  • Smoother ride and less bottoming out.
  • Safety! Your truck will handle better which means it's safer.

All the leaf springs at TruckSpring.com are made to or exceed OEM quality:

  • Made from SAE 5160 Steel, Same as OEM leaf springs.
  • All raw steel is manufactured by steel mills that use the continuous cast (Stran-cast) process, same as OEM leaf springs.
  • Each leaf from the leaf springs is shot peened to specific intensity and coverage.
  • Each leaf spring is coated to prevent corrosion and rust.

If you have any questions about how to identify the correct leaf spring for your vehicle or need bolts or other replacement parts, call us at 1-800-358-4751.

Customer Q&A - Leaf Springs 90-135

I am looking at purchasing these rear leaf springs, but what about bump stops - does it come with them, do you sell them separately, or what do you recommend?

Asked
Leaf springs do not come with bump stops. We are recommend looking at SumoSprings or Timbren suspension kits if you are looking to replace your factory bump stops. We would need to know the year of your truck to provide part numbers. Feel free to call us at 800-358-4751 and we can assist.

Hey there, Will these springs fit a 1986 toyota pickup. Rwd, standard cab long bed? Thanks. -Greg

Asked
The 90-135 spring will not fit on a 1986 Toyota Pickup 2WD. The recommended replacement if your truck is a 1/2 ton is a 90-115. The 90-115 will more closely match the original springs but it may move the rear axle forward 1/4" -3/8". Unfortunately, the exact replacement springs are not currently available. Before ordering it is best to measure your current springs to verify that the replacements will fit correctly.

I have a 94 Toyota pickup with a 3" body and 4" suspension lift . When I added this lift, the springs sorta went flat. And the rear end kinda squats a few inches lower than the front. I also pull a 1,500 lbs. trailer 1,700 miles to Texas, three times a year.. It seems to me that the original springs were not able to keep up with what I'm asking them to do. Are the original springs able to measure up to these extremes? I need to order soon.

Asked
We would need some more information on the truck cab type, how the truck is lifted and if they are stock oem springs that it is currently using. Please call me at 1-800-358-4751 and I can assist. Thank you, Mike.

Is this leaf spring sold and an individual product or is it a pair?

Asked
Toyota leaf spring 90-135 is sold as an individual product. You will have to order a quantity of two for a pair.

Can you tell me if this would fit a 1994 Toyota Pickup, standard cab, 4 cyl, 4x4? All the descriptions I've seen on this site reference the extended cab, so I'm wondering if it fits standard cab too. I am guessing answer is yes but wanted to make sure. Thanks.

Asked
This spring is not the correct replacement for the 1994 Toyota Pickup 4X4 Regular Cab and will not fit correctly. The correct replacement for your truck would be 90-117.

Do these leaf springs fit a 1992 Toyota hilux. It is a 4×4 Xtra Cab. V6 3.0

Asked
We checked with the manufacturer and unfortunately, we do not have any information on the Hilux in North America. We cannot confirm that it will fit the Hilux as they are not available in the US.

Leaf Springs

At TruckSpring / Michigan Truck Spring, we obtain our leaf springs from various sources throughout the world. All of the manufacturers that we represent produce leaf springs that are as good as or better quality than OEM springs.

Virtually no vehicle manufacturer actually manufactures their own leaf springs. Like many other truck components, leaf springs are purchased from companies specializing in supplying parts to truck manufacturers. The springs we sell have the same or better quality as OEM springs and many times are purchased from the same manufacturer.

Leaf Springs Warranty

1 Year Limited Warranty

On all leaf springs.

What the warranty does not cover

Damage from accidents, corrosion, improper installation, incorrect applications, overloading, and custom applications that are not specified under the OEM cross references. This warranty does not cover loss of freight, loss of profit, equipment, or personal downtime. Any alteration of products will void the warranty. Warranty is void if new u-bolts are not installed when the new leaf spring is installed. Using existing u-bolts is a common cause for leaf spring breakage and failure.
