Customer Q&A - Dayton 350-6560

Hello, my 1996, P30, motorhome (34 ft), front axel weight is 4800 lbs. I find the front too low and I think that it is because the coils are worn and I want to replace them. What product of yours do you suggest? Also, leaf springs for the same motorhome, but the weight of the rear axle at 11 300 lbs., total length about 55", from center to one end approx 30" and center to the other end approx 26", width 2 1/2", number of leaf 4/2 pads, 3 1/4" thickness assy, Ship to Canada is possible?

Asked
This coil set is a great option as an upgrade for the front of your motor-home. These will offer an additional 1,000 lbs of weight capacity and should alleviate any problems with sagging or leaning due to the coils being worn. The rear springs are a bit more complicated as there were around 30 different options which change depending on different chassis features. For help in locating the rear springs it would be best to call us directly at 1-800-358-4751 and we can help you over the phone. We can ship all items to Canada if needed.

Hello, I have a 1996 P30 chassis motorhome. I don't know the front axle weight but should I buy a pair of coil that supports exactly the weight, or more? How much more? I'm a french Canadian so I hope my question is well written.

Asked
These are a great option as an upgrade for the stock coil springs on a P30 Motorhome. They will give you an extra 1000lbs of weight capacity with around a 1/2" gain in ride height. When ordering HD springs you will want to keep the capacity well above the actual axle weight without going overboard and making the ride too stiff. Normally 1000lbs over stock is a good starting point and anything heavier would be used in special cases or very heavy applications.

I have a 1997 chevy 24 foot flair motormome. The weight of the front axle is 5140 lbs.Which springs do i need? motorhomer

Asked
The 350-6560 springs should work fine for your 5140 lbs. front axle. They are rated at 3289 lbs. each which would put you at 6578 lbs. total. This is assuming you have a P30 motorhome chassis which is sounds like you do. Feel free to call us at 1-800-358-4751 if you have any other questions about replacing your coil springs on your motorhome. Thank you..
