Three types of suspensions are used:
- Type 1: Full taper suspensions; Eyes both ends type springs.
- Optional "Quiet" springs add a plastic block between the first 2 leaves; see remarks.
- "Quiet" springs are typically used only on recreational vehicle (RV) applications.
- See remarks for identical spring without the "Quiet" spring plastic blocks.
These springs are used on C4500 through C5500.
- C6500 through C8500 springs will also fit this application; see next section.
