This suspension is also known as Freightliner AirLiner.
Effective June 2016, all new trucks use a rear bushing with a steel inner sleeve and a steel shackle:
Previously, an aluminum inner sleeve and aluminum shackle were used in most applications.
Only springs with the steel inner sleeve are now available.
The aluminum shackle should not be used with the bushing with the steel inner sleeve.
Replace aluminum shackle with steel version as needed; contact tech service as needed.
