Applicable Models with Set Back Front Axle (47" to 52" from bumper to axle):
- 5010 through 5070 (1970-1999)
- 5600 and 5600i (2000-2016)
Spring Specifications:
- These models use either "eyes both ends" or "eye by slipper" type front springs.
For Models with "Eyes Both Ends" Type Springs:
- Left and right springs may be different.
- Through July 25, 1976:
- Applies to models up to this date.
- From July 26, 1976:
- Left and right springs may be different.
- Use group codes to identify springs that are identical except for pads or shockeye.
- In 2013, some applications required redesigned springs to comply with new stopping distance rules.
- These redesigned springs are included in each appropriate group code.
- Both the original and redesigned versions continue to be used on new applications.
**Important:** Some late model trucks may use 54" springs with 25" end to the front.
- Refer to the set forward axle spring group as required.
