Air Suspensions: Rear
The current production rear air suspension system uses rolling lobe air springs, starting from 1990 to 2022.
Suspension Series:
The FAS II and FAAR suspension series are part of this system.
Capacity:
These suspensions have a capacity of 10,000 to 15,000 pounds per axle.
Design Feature:
The "Walking Stick" design feature is characterized by the rear end of the spring not curving inward towards the frame rail.
Component Upgrade:
During 2002, the RB-268 replaced the RB-205.
Bushing Flange Orientation:
For springs with RB-268, the bushing flange is oriented towards the frame rail.
