The rear air suspension system used convoluted air springs in the past, prior to 1989.
Suspension Series:
The FAS-20, FAS-38, and FAS-40 suspension series were part of this system.
First Design:
The first design of this air suspension system used a radius leaf spring with an eye casting that featured two 322-122 urethane bushings.
