Our retail store is located at Michigan Truck Spring 3649 Wolf Road Saginaw, MI 48601 We are open from 7 am - 11 pm M-F and 8 - 1 pm on Saturdays.

The title of this item states a 350 lbs capacity. But the description of the item, and the list of specifications states 650 lbs per spring. Can you tell me what the correct number is? I'm looking for a 30" eye-to-eye spring with a capacity of about 300 lbs per spring (for a kayak trailer). If this spring is 650 lbs. capacity, would you recommend that I remove the middle leaf from this spring to make it ride a little softer for my lightweight application? Or do you have another spring that better matches my specification?

Trailer spring MTS-035 has a capacity of 650 lbs. Our website had a typo of 350 lbs. that has been corrected. We do not offer a trailer spring that is 30" long and has a capacity of 300 lbs. The MTS-035 trailer spring is the closest in length and capacity. We recommend taking the bottom leaf off the spring to soften the capacity. However, that will only bring the trailer spring capacity into the 400 lbs. range.

Can I use these springs for straight axel application on a Light weight drag car? Thanks

Yes, these trailer springs could be used on a straight axle applications. They only have a 350 lbs. capacity so you will want to make sure the capacity and dimensions are within your specifications.
