If you’ve noticed that the front of your vehicle sits slightly lower than the back, it’s because your vehicle has an imbalance known as rake. Designed so that your vehicle will sit evenly once weight is added to the back, it’s a practical feature but it can be undesirable in appearance. A Rough Country 2” leveling kit is the perfect solution. These kits will raise the front only the front of your vehicle so that you maintain your vehicle’s carrying capacity, evening the appearance of the imbalance and giving greater ground clearance. You’ll be able to fit larger tires on the front if you so desire, as well. How Do I Choose a Leveling Kit?

To determine how much lift you want, you should measure the height of your wheel well in the front and back. If you desire a slight lift, you don’t have to worry about matching the difference in height, but if, for example, you have a 2” difference between the front and back and want to create a perfectly even look, you’ll want a lift kit that’s 2”.
